Woah, this is city. Last night we rolled to Sebastian’s art show in The Mission, and it was hopping.
Sebastian is a dope craftsman, making his fellow UCSC alums so proud.
Our crew was out last night in full force. Indeed.
Sebastian primarily makes custom furniture, but last night he was showcasing his art. Dude, you are a very, very talented artist.
In addition to Sebastian’s sculpture, Alex was showcasing his photos. I dig my man, I dig.
So yeah, that is that. A variety show Friday night, art show Saturday night — it feels damn good to be back in the bay area. I guess that my journeys on the eastern seaboard made me a little over-confident though. I challenged Millican to a hipster off, discretely pointing out that I was wearing a National Geographic pin on my coat.
I should have known better than to mess with one of the greats. His response was subtle yet powerful. Millican’s pin …
… Oh yeah … I almost forgot to mention, we bumped into a pair of gems from our past life in Santa Cruz, Carmen and Pixie (our old RA). Lovely as ever — the pair of them.
I’ll end the post with a few pics of the crowd from last night’s festivities.
