Hello All,
Life has been a whirlwind.
In the past 21 days I got a new job, moved to Hayes Valley, and was blessed with a healthy niece — Simone Elle Stephenson.
My days have blurred together, a kaleidoscope of moving, partying, working, learning, studying, running and celebrating … I haven’t experienced a change so swift and dramatic since I left for Ukraine in the Fall of 2004.
But the change has been good.
Okay, let’s start with last weekend … I spent Friday and Saturday night saying goodbye to my neighborhood. After 3.5 amazing years, it was really tough experiencing my old spots for the last time (as a local, that is).

… And that Friday and Saturday were all the more wonderful as I spent them with a dear old friend.
On Sunday we officially moved out of the Cabrillo House.

Mikey hired movers … An off-the-charts brilliant idea, these dudes were legit, knocking out the job in about four hours.

And on Wednesday, August 18th, we of course were blessed with the lovely Simone.

So, that brings us to the new pad.
It is ridiculous, I mean it is friggin ridiculous.

We partied with Fernando, our new neighbor.

Living only one and a half blocks from Alamo Square, we rolled to a cool little street fair on Saturday.

But of course, heading into our late 20′s, the partying takes its toll.

… I guess that’s about it.
Ya, it has been absolutely crazy lately. So many wonderful things have been going on, I just feel so blessed. Indeed, even the Pontz is on the road to a speed recovery from his bike crash; it’ll be great having our homey up to full-speed soon. (Also, it’s his birthday in like 3 minutes!)
And now I am enjoying my new couch, breaking in the new blogging nook, tucked in the corner of the new bedroom. Cheers, and goodnight.
