After weeks of hype, a brilliant email thread, countless iterations of watching this video, and several pints of beer, we made it to the Dirt Nasty Show at Manor West. The stage was set, our posse had been boogying for hours, and the air rife with bling. When Simon Rex came to the stage, I experienced a moment of clarity.

Well, it wasn’t really a stage, rather he appeared to be atop some sort of railing or something. And by clarity, I mean to say that I got down with Sonya, Molly, Rachel, Whitney, Pontz and Millican on the dance floor. It was raw.
