Hello All,
You may remember a post from a few weeks back where your blogger suggests a similar sentiment … Well … Just got back from another wonderful weekend in the City of Angels, and I must say that I am really down with that city. Really down.
… Flew on Friday night, poolside (with an incredible view) Saturday morning …

Enjoyed a particularly wonderful brunch with my fellow blogger later that day.

Particularly wonderful indeed.

… Are you kidding me?!
I mean seriously, are you fucking kidding me … The city, like this bowl of assorted fruit, was simply glowing.

Following brunch we made our way out to Griffith Park …

Gawww … Who are we kidding here … I just wanna post pics of Di … Well, I’ll do my best to restrain myself, and try and stitch together some sort of a narrative … But I may just end up getting sidetracked here and go pure goo on everyone.
Keep it together, Stephenson!
Okay, so we cruise around Griffith Park and stoke out on a most excellent sunny late Fall afternoon.

As we strolled around the park I couldn’t help but think of how the environment so poignantly reminds me of my early backpacking expeditions in So Cal. Dry air, low brush, rolling hills, the faint smell of the desert … Damn it was nice.

So Dudes, I got basically the coolest present ever for my birthday … Di got me the complete “World At War” documentary series … All 32 hours!
As the girls painted their nails, your blogger reveled in the contrasts.

Continuing in the radness we then head out to Culver City.

Where we go to see this …

It was … Absolutely brilliant … I mean, it was “Much Ado About Nothing”, starring Hellen Hunt and the dude with the Stapler from “Office Space” … Oh ya, and friggin Lyle Lovett performed!

Ending the night at a bar in Hollywood where I got to meet Di’s old homey Andrea.

Spent Sunday hanging out in Little Tokyo, watching my Bolts smash Kansas City.
It doesn’t really get much better than this.

Flew back to SF a few hours ago, and as I got out of the BART station was greeted by a very welcoming City Hall.

… As well as my most excellent posse.
Dudes.

So ya, I guess that about sums it up.
48 hours in LA, and I couldn’t be happier … The city, and one of its inhabitants in particular, is just so damn hospitable to your blogger … So damn hospitable.
… Well, I guess that I should probably be winding things down. It’s getting late, and after trekking it back home your blogger’s eyes are beginning to get pretty tired.
Ah Hell, might as well throw in another pic of Di … Just for good measure!
