Hello All,
So I know that I have been posting a lot less frequently these past few weeks … It’s just been really tough knocking ‘em out given how crazy the new schedule has been … Really, this being my first real lull since I started blogging regularly, I’ve found it unusually hard to sit and focus and write. Perhaps a steady routine is what I most need to keep the juices flowin …
Oh well, c’est la vie, there’s a lot of content to cover and it’s getting late.
So let’s start with the general, working our way to the specific … My routine is hella beginning to grow on me … I wake up to coffee on my couch …

Heading down into the nether-regions of the Civic Center BART …

… Coming out on the other side of the Bay to what is now one of the greatest joys of my life: working in IT at Pixar. The place is just really, really amazing … It’s insane how grateful I am to be working there.

Kicking it with my old friends has also been such a friggin pleasure.
Living just a handful of blocks from MMM has led to a lot more random hang out sessions. I love this guy.

… And, of course, it’s always so nice seeing Dr. Bunsenhoneydew come up from the south and kick it.

I’ve even gotten back to the weekend brunch routine with my old friend Jesse Murray.

… He hacked his first android app. Props.
Serious Props.

And the family out in Walnut Creek. It’s just getting so off-the-charts adorable out there.
How beautiful!

I got to send off two groups of burners heading out The Playa.
Josh and Dawn …

… And Siegel, Wiz, Simone and Hayley …
How Rad!

… Thus giving JR, Pontz and I an opportunity to dog sit Bowie.
He’s our new best friend.
From Back At It
… And when they got back, I got to see some excellent burning man schwag …

… Getting to work on some re-enactments …

Okay, now speed up to this past Wednesday.
JR and I cruised out to some of his family friends in Piedmont.

We had an epic dinner … Complete with wine makers, philosophers, teachers, lawyers, programmers and engineers … The conversation just kept your blogger beaming with smiles all night.

And on Friday, the stars truly returned to their proper alignment with a most excellent dock party.
I’ve missed the old spot.

The Big Bro even came out for a cameo.
Blaze!
From Back At It
We hit up a dope ass show at the Mezzanine.
It rocked.
From Back At It
… Bringing us to Saturday.
It’s crazy to think about, but Rocci and I have not been on a bike ride since we rode to San Diego for our high school reunion. It’s been like over two months!
One crash and one broken bike had knocked us down … But we got back up. Back up in fine form … Riding through Golden Gate Park, triumphing over the scene of Pontz’s crash:

Even getting to roll by the old pad.
Damn, I really have so many memories of that place … I get a little emotional even looking at pics of it.
From Back At It
We went on a nice little city route heading out to a very foggy Golden Gate Bridge …
From Back At It
Charging straight into the fog …
Yo!
From Back At It
Ending up near the top of the Headlands.
Seriously … It just felt so good being back on the road with my homey.
And of course, the views were nuts!

So, I know what you are thinking, is it possible for this post to keep goin … Well the content just kept on rainin down, and I couldn’t help myself.
Saturday night was continued epicness with a stupendous dinner at the pad.
Indeed, the crew in attendance was ridiculous.

With our favorite pizza maker tirelessly plugging away … Toiling over the dough, sauce and toppings with a precision known only to clockmakers and chemists …

It gets cooler.
The Siegels came.

We like them so much. Schmoozing with Peg and Stu is just such a pleasure.

… And then the dessert came.
… And we ate.
From Back At It
… And all was well.

Straight up, the dinner was just so capital.
We have really begun to make this our home.

… Being back on our standard brunch routine, Rocci and I chowed with the G.
Word.

… Mobbing the Haight …

We even hit up this open house for this super legit 2.2 million dollar pad.
It was a cool mini adventure … Wandering around, scoping out the architecture, vibing the vibe.
From Back At It
The place even had a urinal.
Your blogger approves.

And now, I am enjoying a very tasty sandwich prepared by our new homey Anna.

So … That’s that. Cat Stevens is playing on my iTunes right now, Siegel is building stuff in the attic, and the house is beginning to slowly roll toward sleep.
Have a great night.
