Hello All,

My good friend Marc Keirns recently moved up to the Bay Area, and being the beast that he is, went on a solid 48 miler through Marin with your tireless biking blogger.

It was Rad.

The day began with a decent layer of fog blanketing the city, hanging just above the Golden Gate.

Seriously, I stoke on this view. Not only is it a really cool angle of the bridge, but it comes just as you crest a pretty decent hill winding up from the ocean.

As usual the weather got friggin incredible by the time we reached Marin.

And the views from Tiburon were as magnificent as always.

And on the east side of the peninsula, we rode through some of the finest cycling spots in the Bay.

This stretch is the actual Paradise Road … And it is as aptly named as any strip of asphalt I’ve ever seen.

The climb home was pretty brutal, with the sun hitting us hard and the roads feeling more vertical than usual. Add to that some bike trouble Kernel had (his rear brake pad just fell off his bike) and trekking back was pretty damn gnar.

… But we got home in style, mashing up the hills, rocking our sweet rides.

Oh, and here is a little map action of the loop:

Cheers.
